Policies

General

• Services cannot be officially reserved until a complimentary care consultation has been completed.

• We highly encourage the use of a lock box or keypad for entry if possible.  If a key must be used but is not available to be given to Tilly's Tails during your care consultation, there will be an additional charge of $15 for each key retrieval and return.

• Service start-times are offered during a two-hour window of your choice dependent on availability.

• Holiday rates include: New Year's Eve, New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day.

• Evening rates begin after 5:00 PM seven days a week.

• Dogs with aggressive reactivity to people cannot be accommodated at this time.

• All dogs and cats under the care of Tilly's Tails must have an up to date rabies vaccination.

Payment

• • Invoices are emailed upon booking.  

  • 50% of the total is due upon booking and 50% is due upon completion of services.

  • Payment options include cash, Venmo or PayPal.

Drop-Ins

• • Dog Drop-Ins while you are out of town & no one else is caring for your dog(s) require 3 visits within a 24 hour time period.

  • Cat Drop-Ins while you are out of town & no one else is caring for your cat(s) require 1 visit within a 24 hour time period.

Walks

• To ensure your dog's safety & the safety of our walker, we have a no contact policy while on walks. Other dogs, animals, people & any triggers will be strictly avoided.

• All dog walks are on-leash only & are limited to 3 dogs per household.

Weather

• In the event of inclement or unsafe weather, Tilly's Tails will still provide indoor enrichment/playtime for your dog(s).

• We ask that you always have a dog towel accessible to use on your dog(s).

• If your dog(s) do not mind walking in the rain/sleet/snow & conditions are safe, our walk will go on as scheduled.

Cancellations

• A full refund will be issued for any cancellations made with 8 hours notice.

• Cancellations with less then 8 hours will be refunded 50%.
