About Tilly's Tails

My name is Dana & I am the face behind Tilly's Tails.  Tilly was my sister's dog who quickly became a cherished member our our entire family. She was the goofiest, sweetest rescue dog with a larger than life personality.  When I moved across the country to live with my sister, I would take Tilly & my two dogs, Jax & Nola, on long walks around the neighborhood.  I was often mistaken for a professional dog walking service, which is what led me to start Tilly's Tails in her honor after she crossed the rainbow bridge in 2023.  Our pack was lucky to have so many adventures with Tilly.  We miss her everyday & hope to honor her memory.

My very first job as a teenager was at a doggie daycare & I’ve been caring for pets ever since! I am a certified dog walker & graduate of the Dog Biz University Dog Walking Academy.  I have walked dogs professionally in Philadelphia, San Francisco, the Santa Cruz mountains, & now Portland; which provided me experience on proper dog walking techniques in a variety of environments.  I've also fostered dogs through volunteer work with a local rescue & have worked with dogs & cats with medical needs, reactive dogs, puppies & seniors. 

I know first hand how hard it can be to find someone you trust to care for your pets.  Everyone should have the ability to relax & enjoy their time away or take some weight off their shoulders while busy.  My mission with Tilly's Tails is to help every pet parent have a reliable, trustworthy care giver.
